Hi everyone,
First and foremost, we want to extend our deepest apologies for the delays in delivering the "The Mountain City of Gundar (tMCoG)" Project. We understand that you've been waiting much longer than anticipated, and we genuinely appreciate your patience and support during this challenging journey.
This project has been a monumental undertaking for our team, larger and more complex than anything we've handled before. Despite facing unexpected hurdles and financial strains, we've remained committed to bringing this grand vision to life. The road has been rough and scary at times, but your belief in us and "tMCoG" has been our guiding star.

We've taken the lessons learned from this project to heart. From the start of 2024, we have been implementing better planning and project management strategies to ensure smoother operations and timely deliveries in future projects.
We're nearing the peak of this mountainous challenge, and soon, we'll all enjoy the spectacular view from the top. Your ongoing support and understanding make all of this possible. Together, we are making "tMCoG" not just a project, but a testament to perseverance and community spirit.

The Long-Awaited Delivery Schedule Update

Hello, everyone!
Some of you may not be aware, but we recently moved to a new location. Initially, we were using a temporary coworking space. However, we are excited to announce that we have completed our first full week in our new private office, and it has been incredibly productive!
Additionally, we have updated the gradual delivery schedule for tMCoG. The new schedule is both accurate and realistic. We will continue to update it, so you can rely on it confidently. You can view the updated gradual delivery schedule by clicking here.

Delivery Update: What to Expect and When to Expect It!

Greetings, everyone!
Adhering to our gradual delivery schedule has proven challenging, but we want to assure you that not everything will be delayed. To keep you informed, we have decided to provide monthly KS updates. As we approach the end of June, here is a preview of what you can expect to be published in July:
- Mountain City ALL floors (Variant A & B): We will be delivering all floors of both Variant A and B. The first files of Variant B have already been dispatched, and our next focus will be on fully delivering Floor II's Variant B tiles. Once this is completed, we will release Part 1 of the modular starter kit. Additionally, we will update Part 20 of Floor I Variant A, as it currently requires some sanding to ensure compatibility with other parts. Following this, we will release the remaining three parts of Floor II Variant A.
- Remaining Floors: We will continue delivering all the remaining floors of Variant A. Once all Variant A files are delivered, we will begin delivering the remaining Variant B tiles. Upon completion of this delivery, Part 2 of the modular starter kit will be released.
- Objects: July will also bring the delivery of every object from the Mountain City collection.
- Unchained Content: At the beginning of July, we will deliver all Tier I objects as part of the Unchained Content.
We understand the importance of minimizing unnecessary email spam while ensuring that you are kept informed about the latest developments. With this in mind, we have implemented a new approach to keep you updated effectively.
Introducing Weekly Upload Day: Every Saturday, we will be uploading new files to MyMiniFactory. This ensures a consistent and organized schedule for sharing new content with our backers (you). If the uploaded files are part of your Kickstarter reward, you will receive an MMF update notification in your mailbox. This notification will provide detailed information about the added content for that particular week.
Looking ahead to the coming months:
- August: Our focus will shift towards developing the LED version of Mountain City Variant A, along with the creation of the mystery box add-on files and pre-supporting the objects. In August we will also release the miniature bases without the miniatures on it!
- September & October: These months will be dedicated to finalizing and delivering all stretch goals and the remaining Unchained Content.

Important notice: Email/comments/PM response rate and Discord availability
We would like to inform you that, until the end of August, our email response rate will be slower than usual. To ensure that we address all inquiries and comments, we have designated Wednesdays as our dedicated day for replying to emails. Rest assured that every email, KS/MMF comment and or private message will receive a response on Wednesdays.
If you have urgent matters that require immediate attention, starting from July 28th, Saba will be back on our Discord server and ready to assist you promptly on a daily basis! Dear Backers,
We're thrilled to announce that the gradual delivery of our Kickstarter project has been underway for the past few weeks. If you're curious to see the progress, you're welcome to follow the updates here or join our Discord server where you can engage with fellow backers and see what they are printing!
Upcoming Releases:
- Village of Firgult: We're excited to share that all core files pertaining to the Village of Firgult will be available by Sunday, June 4th.
- Merchant Licenses: For those with commercial merchant licenses, you can expect to receive your unique merchant ID on Sunday, June 5th.
- Modular Starter Kit & Modular Files: The first-floor files for the Gundbar version B will be launched before Saturday, June 10th.
Moving forward, the delivery of Gundbar versions A and B will proceed, with an ambitious target of completing all six floors by August 10th. Upon the release of the 6th floor, we're excited to present our Adventure PDF as well!
Our goal is to outpace the delivery schedule mentioned previously, ensuring that all unchained content and stretch goals are released ahead of time.

The Start of Gundbar's Gradual Delivery

The gradual delivery
The gradual delivery has begun, and we appreciate your patience during this process. As you can see from the gradual delivery schedule, we encountered some initial delays. However, we are actively working to ensure that we'll be back on track as soon as possible! The next deliveries are planned for Sunday, May 14th, and Thursday, May 18th. These two additional delivery days will help us catch up on our delay. Once caught up, you will be able to see the final renders on MMF (currently, the files have placeholder renders) and access a PDF that will guide you through the assembly of the Mountain City of Gundbar. For those of you waiting for the dice tower, it will be uploaded to MMF within the next 24 hours.
You will receive an update in your mailbox every time new files are added to your MMF library. If you are waiting for a reply to your comment, email, or message, you will receive a helpful response tomorrow!
The Mountain City of Gundbar (Variant A)
We had to delay the delivery of the LED version as it requires more testing. If you are waiting for the LED version of the Mountain City, you can expect the first files that support LED lights to be delivered on June 20th.
Unfortunately, we had to remove the hidden tile system as it made the printing and setup of the mountain city extremely difficult. However, we will be adding a few extra objects to the rooms throughout the gradual delivery to compensate for this change!

If you have already completed the pledge manager, you have received an MMF link to join the gradual delivery process (please also check your spam folder for this). If you complete the pledge manager at a later time, please reach out to us at [email protected] so that we can manually add you to the gradual delivery! Or just send a message here.
Next update
The next project update will be on May 25th, which will provide a detailed overview of the project. It is also the date when merchants will receive their personal merchant ID.

Outlook on the delivery schedule
We would like to provide some insight into the initial delay experienced in the delivery schedule. The Mountain City model requires an extensive amount of time and attention to detail, especially when it comes to ensuring the perfection of its exterior. A small mistake in this aspect could potentially lead to errors on other floors. As you may already be aware, this model is exceptionally large in size. We acknowledge that this has caused some shifts and chaos in the delivery schedule, and we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused.
Moving forward, we want to assure you that everything will proceed smoothly. The modular tiles of floor one will be delivered together with the starter kit, and we are diligently working to rectify any issues encountered. We are committed to resolving these matters in time for the next update on May 25th.
